Hiring the right team isn’t easy, but it is essential.
That’s especially true when you’re trying to build the kind of high-growth, high-potential companies changing the world from right here in Houston. So where can job seekers go to find local opportunities, and how will entrepreneurs find the right candidates? As of today, HTX Talent is that place.
Part of our mission at Houston Exponential is creating pathways that allow innovation to flow at scale, and that starts with connecting local talent and innovators to the companies primed for growth. The initiative for HTX Talent was born in our HX Talent Committee, championed by committee member Erik Ibarra, who garnered support from the City of Houston Mayor’s Office of Innovation, and ecosystem partners Texas Medical Center, Station Houston and The Cannon.
Part of the site’s appeal—besides its niche audience—includes the easy-to-use filters, which allow job seekers to narrow their search by company, keyword, job function, topic and more.
Though the site started with five companies and 60 jobs, in just 30 days that number grew to 60 companies and 750 jobs. That number will only continue to grow as the city’s tech companies add to their workforce. Hint, hint: We’d love as many job submissions as possible now that you know it exists.
We’re experiencing an exciting time to live in the Bayou City—incidentally, the first city to have a site dedicated exclusively to tech jobs. And we’re just getting started. Are you part of a tech company looking for talent? Visit the site and fill out a simple form here.
